In many teams, we share an office without really knowing each other. We stay strictly professional and rarely open up. The bond stays fragile and trust takes a long time to grow.
Why it works
Opening up a little creates connection
Trust grows naturally from the bond that forms when we dare to open up a little, personally. The game creates the emotion that makes people want to take part, without ever forcing anyone.
Our approach draws on a mechanism studied by social psychology research: self-disclosure feeds closeness, closeness feeds trust, and trust feeds cooperation.
How it works
Four steps, a few minutes each
You play all year round or for a one-off event. The principle stays the same.
Answer the questions
Everyone picks a theme and answers its questions in a few minutes. Quick portrait, Team spirit, Awkward but sweet... positive, optional and friendly questions.
Choose your game mode
Play however you like:
- all together on a big screen, at an offsite or an afterwork
- solo, whenever you like, across every theme
- targeting specific colleagues, to get to know them better
Guess your colleagues' answers
Once five people have answered, the quiz begins. For each question, you guess a colleague's answer among four options. You discover sides of people you never suspected.
Climb the leaderboard and celebrate
Points add up and a leaderboard takes shape. Every month, you celebrate the challenge winner and start again with new themes.

What is Trust Builder, in one sentence?
A team quiz based on getting to know each other. Everyone answers personal questions, then you guess each other's answers. You get to know one another while having fun.
How long does it take?
A few minutes to answer the questions, a few minutes to play a round. You can do it in a single session or spread it over several days.
Does it make people uncomfortable?
No. The questions are positive, friendly and above all optional. Everyone opens up at their own pace, and no one is ever required to answer.
Can we use our own questions?
Yes. You pick from our library of themes or create your own questions, on your own, in your team's image.
Does it work remotely and for hybrid teams?
Yes. Trust Builder is 100% web-based. Everyone plays from their own screen, or all together on a big screen during a team moment.

Are the answers moderated?
There's no after-the-fact moderation: every theme and question is positive and friendly by design, and answering any single question always stays optional.
